The research group AIPA, of which Luis de Villanueva belonged, was granted the authorization of the president of the Construction History Society, Professor Huerta, as co-editor of the aforementioned proceedings for the reproduction of the original text with the necessary typographic modifications. The images of the figures have been taken from the original sources looked up by professor Villanueva, whenever possible, with the aim of improving its graphic quality.Heritage Buildings are presented. Se ofrece aqu赤 una reproducci車n de un trabajo original del profesor Villanueva con una leve correcci車n ortotipogr芍fica sobre el texto original publicado en las Actas del Primer Congreso Nacional de Historia de la Construcci車n, Madrid, 19-21 septiembre 1996, eds. A. de las Casas, S. Huerta, E. Rabasa, Madrid: I. Juan de Herrera, CEHOPU, 1996. El grupo de investigaci車n AIPA, al que pertenec赤a Luis de Villanueva, consta con permiso del presidente de la Sociedad de Historia de la Construcci車n, profesor Huerta, como coeditor de las citadas actas para la reproducci車n del texto original con las modifi caciones tipogr芍ficas necesarias. Las im芍genes de las figuras han sido tomadas de las fuentes originales consultadas por el profesor Villanueva, siempre que ha sido posible, con objeto de mejorar su calidad gr芍fica.
