%X This text studies the concept of revolutionary war in the thought of his main ideologists 每Mao, Giap, Ho Chi Minh, Guevara每 and its real application. At the same time it is analyzed the answer that States gave to revolution: a counter-revolutionary doctrine 每which was born in France and was tested in the war of Algeria and Indochina每 which tried stopping the revolutionary strength in the Cold War. Both ideas 每revolutionary war and counterrevolutionary response每 were plenty of emotion and, in this paper, it is tried to understand them strictly from academic point of view.
