%X This work defends the thesis that Spinoza's political thinking is in fact realist against the thought that it is utopist or chimerical imagination. It also sustains that Spinoza, with a line of thought immanent to this world, has provided the philosophical foundation to political realism that have been absent in the thought of twentieth century authors of this political current.
