Los avatares de la informaci¨®n debida al Congreso Nacional %A Hern¨¢n Ampuero Villagr¨¢n %J Revista Enfoques : Ciencia Pol¨ªtica y Administraci¨®n P¨²blica %D 2011 %I Universidad Central de Chile %X Since 1925 and for over eighty years now, analysts and politicians in Chile have engaged in vigorous debate over the nature and effects of the Government¡¯s obligation in providing information to Congress ¨Cin particular to the Chamber of Deputies¨C, the latter being constitutionally empowered to oversee the Executive. Recent parliamentary sessions on a new bill had intended to finish off the long-standing debate but apparently had the opposite effect of opening up fresh arguments.
