In the algorithm, the sensed constraint, transmission constraint and energy constraint were considered. The network lifetime maximization problem was formulated as optimization model. Nonnegative slack variables and logarithmic barrier functions were introduced. Then, the network optimization model was decomposed into node optimization models. Each node had its modified Newton optimization model with local information which received from neighbor nodes. Finally, initial solution vector and Newton step length were considered. The node executed the five steps to calculate its maximum lifetime with Newton method. Simulation results show that under different numbers of nodes and sensed rates, the DNLM_NM algorithm can find the optimal values and use multipath routing to maximize network lifetime. It is fit for the static wireless sensor networks. %K network lifetime %K newton method %K wireless sensor networks %K Distributed %U http://docsdrive.com/pdfs/ansinet/itj/2013/997-1003.pdf
