%X Society, organizations, and people in general have been questioned about what has been done with the world in which we live. The new information and communication technologies, new models of consumption and the networks connecting actors around the globe have led to new social issues, that requires innovative responses by organizations. The answers for these questions can be in the education process in the Business Schools, i.e. in a responsible education in management. In this context, this article aims to analyze the strategies used by Management courses of higher education institutions of the region around Florian車polis to promote the formation of the Manager on the basis of the Principles for Responsible Management Education - PRME. The study was carried out in fifteen Higher Education Institutions that offer undergraduate degrees in business administration. The sample of respondents is composed of all fifteen course managers, and a stratified probability sample of two hundred and twenty-six teachers, accepting a sampling error of 4per cent. The primary data collected by semi-structured interviews were faced with secondary data from the pedagogical projects. Data analysis was performed based on content analysis category. The results showed that the majority of educators are unaware of the proposals made by the United Nations Organization and the few who know them, do not propose formal strategies for practical implementation because there is no requirement of the Ministry of Education, as well as of the Regional Council of Administration. It shows a reactive posture in a sector that is already characterized by normative and mimetic behavior.
