Barba %A Carlos Rodr¨ªguez Hoyos %J Revista Electronica Interuniversitaria de Formaci¨®n del Profesorado %D 2012 %I Asociaci¨®n Universitaria de Formaci¨®n del Profesorado %X This article describes the current society as a system characterized by constant change in which social differences continuously increase; these have been exacerbated due to the current economic crisis. To fight against such inequalities we propose to work from the perspective offered by Development Education in the different educational levels, fostering practices that are aimed at transforming and promoting awareness of this reality. Overall, this is a proposal based on the ideal of social justice and equity and it seeks to discuss how to bring about a more just and egalitarian world.
