%0 Journal Article %T WATER, DEVELOPMENT AND CONFLICT IN THE PLAN PUEBLA PANAMA %A Julia Isabel Mart¨ªnez Fuentes %A Eduardo Andr¨¦s Sandoval Forero %J Ra Ximhai %D 2011 %I Universidad Aut¨®noma Ind¨ªgena de M¨¦xico %X This article discusses the negative factors of development in the region where was placed the precedent Puebla Panama Plan (PPP), in particular issues around the geostrategic factor of water, as an important part of the current Project of Integration and Development of Mesoamerica in connection with the Sistema de Interconexi¨®n El¨¦ctrica de los Pa¨ªses de Am¨¦rica Central (SIEPAC), hydroelectric connection from Central America to Colombia.
