%0 Journal Article %T RELATO DE DOS J車VENES QUE EN SU ADOLESCENCIA NO CONCLUYERON LA EDUCACI車N GENERAL B芍SICA ( THE STORY OF TWO YOUTH WHO DID NOT FINISH HIGH SCHOOL AND HAVE NOT RETAKEN IT YET) %A Morales Trejos Carol %J Revista Electr車nica Actualidades Investigativas en Educaci車n %D 2010 %I %X Resumen:El presente documento es un art赤culo producto del Trabajo Final de Graduaci車n para optar por el grado de Licenciatura en Orientaci車n de la Universidad de Costa Rica, durante el periodo 2008-2009, que aborda el tema de la salida anticipada del Sistema Educativo Formal Costarricense, a partir del relato de dos j車venes (un hombre y una mujer) quienes en su adolescencia no concluyeron la Educaci車n General B芍sica; ambos estudiantes viven en R赤o Fr赤o, cant車n de Sarapiqu赤, provincia de Heredia. Dichos casos fueron analizados por la autora y parten de la hip車tesis de que en el fen車meno de la salida anticipada convergen tanto factores externos como internos al individuo. La historia de cada caso fue construida mediante un estudio de casos, que permiti車 concluir que factores externos, provenientes del contexto familiar y educativo, no permiten que se de un adecuado desarrollo de factores internos, como el inter谷s y la motivaci車n hacia el estudio, ocasionando a su vez un paulatino alejamiento del o la adolescente del centro educativo ya sea por exclusi車n, repulsi車n o expulsi車n.Abstract:The current document is an article and a byproduct of a final graduate work opting for the degree in a Counseling license at the University of Costa Rica, during the period of 2008-2009, it tackles the theme of early departure from the Formal Costa Rican Educational System, through the story of two youth (a man and a woman) who during their adolescence did not finish high school; both students live near R赤o Fr赤o, the Sarapiqu赤 area, within the province of Heredia. These cases were analyzed by the author and shared their hypothesis as a part of this phenomenon of an early departure which converged with external as well as internal factors for the individual.
