%X Resumen:En este art赤culo se exponen los resultados de una experiencia sobre el uso de la herramienta del portafolio digital como parte de la evaluaci車n de la Cl赤nica de Restaurativas II del quinto a o en la Facultad de Odontolog赤a de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) y durante un curso en el segundo semestre del a o 2011; se explican algunos de los fundamentos en el uso de esta herramienta y los detalles de su dise o y elaboraci車n; al respecto, cada estudiante elabor車 un portafolio sobre sus tratamientos en la cl赤nica, tomando en cuenta los aspectos solicitados por el docente a trav谷s de una gu赤a; adem芍s, la percepci車n de los participantes, un total de seis, y del docente involucrado en la experiencia, manifestaron su utilidad como una herramienta que fomenta la autoreflexi車n sobre el aprendizaje y, a la vez, obtener una bit芍cora de todos los procesos que constituyen un tratamiento odontol車gico restaurativo. Las tareas que componen cada tratamiento pudieron constatarse a trav谷s de im芍genes, con las que el docente pudo identificar el cumplimiento de los requerimientos de cada proceso. La retroalimentaci車n result車 valiosa para el an芍lisis de la docencia cl赤nica.Abstract: This article presents the results of an experience about the use of the digital portfolio as part of the assessment in Restorative Clinic II from fifth year in the Dentistry School, University of Costa Rica (UCR) during a course in the second semester, 2011. It explains some of the basic elements in the use of this tool and the details of its design and development. Each student developed a portfolio about their treatments in the clinic, taking into account the aspects requested by the teacher and written on a guide. Besides, this article includes the perception of the participating students, a total of six, and the professor involved in the experience, which demonstrated its usefulness as a tool that encourages self reflection on learning and, at the same time, gives the chance to get a log of all processes that make a restorative dental treatment possible. The tasks that make up each treatment could be proven through images with which the professor could identify the completion of the requirements of each process. Finally, the feedback proved to be very valuable for the analysis of clinical teaching.
