Chaudhary %J American Journal of Engineering Research %D 2013 %I American Journal of Engineering Research %X In this paper we have studied a free and forced convective flow of a viscous incompressible fluid through a vertical porous channel bounded by two vertical plates moving with same velocity but in opposite directions, with slip parameters. The temperature and concentration of the plate at y = 0 is considered to be oscillating. Expressions for velocity, temperature, concentration along with skin friction and Nusselt number are obtained and comparative study is made to analyze the effects of different parameters. We observe that increase in velocity slip parameter (h1) decreases the skin friction. Also, it is noteworthy that Nusselt number is higher for water (Pr = 7) as compared for air (Pr = 0.71). %K Mixed convection %K Porous medium %K Suction velocity %K Thermal diffusion %K Unsteady %U http://www.ajer.org/papers/v2(7)/R027141158.pdf
