The growth and development of a state is primarily dependent upon the quality of education given to the people. In India Right to Education Act (RTE) was passed on 4th August 2009 which provides for free and compulsory education for children between the age of 6 and 14 years. The Act came into force on 1 April 2010. The problems on the path of education of children includes child labour, misery of girl child in India and poor quality of education. Article 51A of constitution also makes its obligatory for parent or guardian as the case may be to provide opportunities for education to his child or ward between the age of six and fourteen years. Although RTE Act is a major landmark in the history of India but there are certain limitations of the Act which if removed then education will reach every child in India which is their right. ˇ°There is only one purpose in the whole of Life ¨CEducationˇ±.ˇ°Otherwise what is the use of me and women, land and wealthˇ±. ¨C Swami Vivekanandaˇ°Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the worldˇ±.¨C Nelson Mandela %K Education %K Limitations %K Constitution. %U http://www.isrj.net/PublishArticles/1794.pdf
