%X Music is a boon to mankind many scholars, gramarian contributed to enrich Music Theory. Pythagoras, the famous physician, mathematician, philosophers, musicologist and musician respectively, supported the application of a kind of music which was structured according to the laws of harmony of microcosm of music and was to have a beneficial effect on the life of the individual in health as well as in harmony with nature. This paper looks at the importance of Pythagorean Scale in Indian Music and Pythagoras's thought about music.
