%X ResumoA necessidade de aprimorar o conhecimento fez com que este estudo fosse desenvolvido de maneira interdisciplinar, objetivando oferecer a vis o do Direito Ambiental sobre as ¨¢reas de Preserva  o Permanente (APP¡¯s), e o entendimento da Engenharia Florestal, perspectivas e conceitua  o. De modo geral em tratando de Meio Ambiente, tema de vital importancia para a comunidade global, trabalhos que congreguem ¨¢reas diversas das ci¨ºncias, e ao mesmo tempo, afins, em decorr¨ºncia do tema abordado, certamente enriquecem o conhecimento, este afinal, ¨¦ objetivo principal do presente trabalho.AbstractConsidering the necessity of improving knowledge, this study was carried out in an interdisciplinary way, aiming at offering a view of the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPA¡¯s) from the perspectives and concepts by the Environmental Law and Forestry Engineering. In general terms, the environment is a theme of vital importance to the global community. Given that, research works that bring together different areas of science, which become particularly connected because of the theme they approach, certainly contribute to enrich knowledge. After all, this is the main goal of this work.
