The increasing number of migrants ¨Cand especially irregular ones- over the last four decades, obligated the governments to develop policies at different levels: bilateral and multilateral, considering the great impact of migration in their internationalrelationships.The multilateral approach in managing the international migration in North of America, led the governments of M¨¦xico and United States to regard migration as an issue of national sovereignty and created policy changes which affect the status of the migrants with no documents.This article tries to ˇ°readˇ± one of the principal politics of Mexico known as PLAN SUR DE M¨¦XICO (2006), and interpret through the original document of the plan, the motives of the two governments in the confrontation of the organized crime and the irregular migration. %U http://espaciodeestudiosmigratorios.org/es/miradas-en-movimiento-mem/volumenes/volumen-i/doc_download/4-articulo-iv-zampeta-papadodima
