According to Mendes (2004), the fiction is classified into three types: constitutive, collaborative and predominant. The first one occurs outside the sphere of discourse, the second one in genres that mix fact and fiction and the third one is typical in the literary discourse. In the corpus, we realize the porosity between the factual and fictional. The text reproduces a statistical document of 1804, reorganized into blocks of verses. Whereas for Charaudeau (1983), the effects of real and of fiction are inherent in the act of language we understand that change the status of the original text occurs thanks the procedure of fictionalization. The Affonso ¨¢vila`s poem demonstrates how fictionality and factuality can travelling in a two-way street showing us how a certain kind of discourse has its status (factual or fictional), modified by the procedures of the enunciation of the text producer. %K Factuality %K Fictionality %K Literary discourse %K Semiolinguistic Theory %U http://www2.unucseh.ueg.br/vialitterae/assets/files/volume_revista/vol_3_num_2/Vol_3-2_16_ELISSON_MORATO_Factualidade_e_ficcionalidade_em_Affonso_Avila.pdf
