%0 Journal Article %T Jorge Luis Borges and literary criticism in Latin America: a analysis about the concepts of ¡°nationality¡± and ¡°local identity¡± in Latin America from the essays and the literary works made by this renowned Argentine writer %A Ana Luiza de Oliveira Duarte Ferreira %J Via Litterae %D 2011 %I Universidade Estadual de Goi¨¢s %X This article reflects some of the most famous texts (essays and stories) from the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges, and arranges a dialogue between them and texts from other thinkers considered as great names of Literary Criticism in Latin America: Ricardo Piglia (from Argentina), Antonio Candido and Silviano Santiago (from Brazil), and Oct¨¢vio Paz (from Mexico).
