%X The basic principles of creating the mathematical model of definition of the optimum parameters and quantity of shuttle tankers for Russian hydrocarbon deposits maintenance in the Northern Caspian Sea are given. On the basis of the statistical analysis of 94 tankers suitable for exploitation in the Northern Caspian Sea the curve of dependence of the main tankersĄŻ elements on their deadweights like X = f (DW) is drawn. Based on the economic calculations the choice of the optimum type of transportation is made. The general block scheme of the calculation algorithm of the optimum characteristics of the shuttle tankers and their quantity in the overhead costsĄŻ criteria is presented.
