%X The problem of a priori selection of the most acceptable method of the solution of a specific task or a set of tasks of the information security on the basis of evaluation and analysis of input parameters of the problems and the comparison of these characteristics with the parameters of various optimization methods is considered. The procedure for the selection, based on the preliminary formation of the tables of compliance is offered. The possible initial versions of these tables are worked out.
