%X This article analyzes the practical application of mechanism of privatization of accommodations in blocks of flats. The privatization of isolated residential accommodations in smaller blocks of flats is conducted in Kaliningrad by lessees and their family members following the pattern of a communal flat, i. e. only the living area of the house is taken into account when calculating the shares of proprietors.
