The theme is human finitude. Through the representation of the vampire in the movies based on the books ¨C Dracula, by Bram Stoker, Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice and Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer ¨C we will think about the ¡°bargains¡± established between the man and his finitude. Through the figure of the vampire and its mutations, we will meditate on the human wish for more-life. We live the paradox between the wish to be human an immortal, at the same time. This paradox ails the vampire as well as the human. Being mortal continues to define us.
