%X The Isshiki thyroplasty type is the medialisation of the membranous portion of the paralyzed vocal cord using a prosthesis placed by external approach.Since It was described a lot of modifications of the technique have appeared in order to streamline and simplify the procedure. We consider that our modification in the design of the titanium prosthesis allows easy fixing and increase its stability.
