%X La anestesia regional y la ecograf赤a parecen ir de la mano en la 迆ltima d谷cada. A la dificultad de la identificaci車n de estructuras nerviosas se a ade la de visualizar en el ec車grafo el material de punci車n conforme se realizan las t谷cnicas analg谷sicas o anest谷sicas. La ecogenicidad de agujas y cat谷teres se debe a la reflexi車n del ultrasonido en la superficie de Estos. Para incrementar su visualizaci車n y facilitar al anestesi車logo la t谷cnica, se han desarrollado nuevos dispositivos y avances en los acabados de estos materiales de punci車n. El objeto de esta revisi車n es recopilar de la literatura la informaci車n publicada acerca de este desarrollo en materiales de punci車n para anestesia o analgesia regional. Regional anesthesia and ultrasonography have apparently gone hand in hand in the last decade. The difficulty of visualizing the puncture material in the ultrasound machine during the analgesic or anesthetic techniques is added to that of the nerve structure identification. Different devices and advances on previous materials are appearing so as to facilitate this visualization to the anaesthesiologist. This review aims to gather the information published about these developments.
