%X O presente estudo avaliou a presen a de inacur¨¢cia na estima  o da imagem corporal e suas rela  es com a atividade f¨ªsica e o estado nutricional em adolescentes. Trezentos e setenta e cinco adolescentes (191 meninos e 184 meninas), responderam a Escala de Silhuetas e o Question¨¢rio Internacional de Atividade F¨ªsica (IPAQ), e tiveram seu peso e altura aferidos. Meninas apresentaram mais inacur¨¢cia quando comparadas aos meninos. N o houve efeito de atividade f¨ªsica, mas um efeito significativo de estado nutricional, com o grupo de indiv¨ªduos com baixo peso apresentando menores ¨ªndices de inacur¨¢cia da estima  o corporal quando comparado aos demais grupos. A inacur¨¢cia da estima  o corporal n o manteve rela  o com a pr¨¢tica de atividade f¨ªsica, mas foi diretamente relacionada ao estado nutricional. This study evaluated the presence of inaccuracy of body image estimation and its possible interactions with the practice of physical activity and the nutritional status in adolescents. A total of three hundred and seventy five adolescents (191 boys and 184 girls), responded the Figurate Scale and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire and had their weight and height measured. The girls showed more inaccuracy than boys. No was observed physical activity effect, but a significant effect of nutritional status with the undernutrition group presenting lower levels of inaccuracy compared to the other groups. The results of this study demonstrate that in this sample, inaccuracy of body image estimation was strictly related to nutritional status, but not to physical activity.
