%X ABSTRACT: This paper tries to summarise the essay Sex, work and sport (G. Mara 車n, 1926). Given the knowledge and international prestige of this man (member of the Spanish Language Academy and of the Medicine Academy, prolific writer, etc.) his ideas around sex, gender, motherhood, homework, femininity, masculinity, work or sport can be considered as representative of the thinking about those themes in that time.RESUMEN: Este art赤culo trata de resumir el ensayo de G. Mara 車n Sexo, trabajo y deporte (1926). Teniendo en cuenta el saber y prestigio internacional de este hombre (miembro de la Academia de la Lengua y de la Academia de Medicina, autor de numerosos escritos, etc.) sus ideas sobre sexo, g谷nero, maternidad, trabajo dom谷stico, feminidad, masculinidad, trabajo o deporte pueden considerarse representativas del pensamiento dominante en esa 谷poca en torno a dichos temas.
