%X .- The main aim of Physical Education is teaching children how to cope with situations that demand physical activity. The creation and organisation of such situations by the teacher is closely connected with his or her understanding of education and movement. If education is considered a means to enable a child to educate itself and if movement is seen as a means of communication between a child and its surroundings, the acquisition of the necessary competences to deal with such situations can only be achieved by an active confrontation with the teaching objectives. This is particularly successful if the children take responsibility for their own learning process and the creation and organisation of their physical education lessons. Based on the conditions mentioned above the following article describes the authors＊ didactic concept of how to teach Physical Education illustrated by practical examples. Resumen.- El objetivo principal de la Educaci車n F赤sica es ense ar a los ni os a c車mo hacer frente a situaciones que exigen actividad f赤sica. La creaci車n y organizaci車n de este tipo de situaciones por parte del profesor est芍 estrechamente relacionada con su comprensi車n de la educaci車n y el movimiento. Si la educaci車n se considera un medio para que un ni o se eduque a s赤 mismo y si el movimiento es visto como un medio de comunicaci車n entre el ni o y su entorno, la adquisici車n de las competencias necesarias para hacer frente a este tipo de situaciones s車lo puede lograrse mediante una confrontaci車n activa con los objetivos de la ense anza. Esto es particularmente exitoso si los ni os toman la responsabilidad de su propio proceso de aprendizaje y la creaci車n y organizaci車n de sus clases de Educaci車n F赤sica. Partiendo de las condiciones mencionadas anteriormente, el siguiente art赤culo describe la concepci車n did芍ctica de la ense anza de la Educaci車n F赤sica por parte del autor, ilustrado con varios ejemplos pr芍cticos.
