%X RESUMEN La famosa expresi車n de Le Corbusier, ※La casa es una m芍quina para habitar§ ha sido tradicionalmente malinterpretada. El maestro suizo no pretend赤a hacer casas que parecieran artefactos industriales, sino responder con la precisi車n de una m芍quina a los requerimientos funcionales y espirituales del hombre moderno. Las maisons Loucheur destacan entre los innumerables prototipos de viviendas para ser producidas en serie proyectadas a lo largo de su vida, puesto que las propone para ser construidas en seco, aplicando las posibilidades de la industria, pero teniendo en cuenta la capacidad operativa de los constructores locales. El desastre de los barrios de L豕ge y Pessac le hab赤a hecho comprender que la aproximaci車n a la t谷cnica debe hacerse desde el conocimiento y no desde la mitificaci車n. SUMMARY Le Corbusier＊s famous expression, ※The house is a machine for living in§, has traditionally been misunderstood. The Swiss master did not intend to make houses that look like industrial artefacts, but that they should respond with the precision of a machine to the functional and spiritual requirements of modern man. Le Corbusier＊s Maisons Loucheur stand out among the many housing prototypes for serial production planned throughout his life. He proposed dry每assembly for their construction, using the possibilities of industry, but taking into account the operational capability of the local builders. The disaster of the L豕ge and Pessac neighbourhoods made him understand that the technical approach must be made from knowledge and not from myth.
