%X A case of a three-month female infant who was born in an ectopic and institutional delivery is described. His parents are healthy and came to the consultation office due to an enlargement in the posterior part of the head. Precocious Hyperostosis due to synostoses of the sagittal and diastasis suture of the lambdoidal suture was confirmed in the radiography. It was decide to put the patient under surgical treatment after assessing the case with a neurosurgeon. An early diagnosis and treatment of this non frequent disease are of great importance because it does not permit a presentation of neurological sequelae. Se describe el caso de una lactante femenina de 3 meses nacida de parto eut車cico e institucional, hija de padres sanos, que acudi車 a consulta por abultamiento en la parte posterior de la cabeza. La radiograf赤a simple de cr芍neo en proyecci車n lateral, confirm車 la hiperostosis por sinostosis precoz de la sutura sagital y di芍stasis de la sutura lambdoidea. Al valorarse el caso con el neurocirujano, se decidi車 tratamiento quir迆rgico. El diagn車stico y tratamiento precoz de esta infrecuente enfermedad, son de gran importancia, pues posibilitan que las secuelas neurol車gicas no se presenten.
