%X Background: As part of control tests taken by students, problems in the use of the language emerged. Therefore, it was uniformly established how to deal with spelling mistakes through the implementation of Instruction 1 / 2009. Objective: To design a spelling course for students in the Health Technology Bachelor Degree. Methods: A descriptive-observational study was conducted from January to March 2010. The sample consisted of 120 first year students. The main methods used were: document analysis, surveys and educational testing. Results: As main causes of spelling mistakes students identified the lack of rules knowledge, the lack of reading habits and little use of the dictionaries. The most frequent mistakes identified in the diagnostic test were: written accent (we are working with Spanish speaking students), changes, omissions or additions and agreement. This course covers a total of 60 hours and emphasizes in six general issues: following the guidelines of Instruction 1 / 2029, starting with a diagnostic test, using a textual approach, promoting mostly practical activities, following productive teaching methods with an emphasis on inductive and deductive procedures and highlighting the systematization of the teaching process as a didactic principle. Conclusions: The design of this course contributes to eliminate spelling mistakes in students. Fundamento: En controles realizados al proceso de formaci車n, se detectaron problemas en el dominio de la lengua, por lo que se estableci車 de manera uniforme el modo de tener en cuenta los errores ortogr芍ficos mediante la aplicaci車n de la Instrucci車n 1/2009. Objetivo: Dise ar un curso de Ortograf赤a para los estudiantes de la carrera Licenciatura en Tecnolog赤a de la Salud. M谷todos: Se realiz車 un estudio observacional descriptivo, en el per赤odo de enero a marzo del 2010, con 120 estudiantes de primer a o de dicha carrera. Los m谷todos fundamentales utilizados fueron: an芍lisis de documentos, encuesta y prueba pedag車gica. Resultados: Los estudiantes identificaron el insuficiente conocimiento de las reglas, el poco h芍bito de lectura y el poco uso del diccionario, entre las causas que m芍s inciden en sus problemas ortogr芍ficos; los errores m芍s frecuentes detectados en el diagn車stico fueron: la acentuaci車n, los cambios, omisiones o adiciones y los errores de concordancia; el curso tiene un total de 60 horas y le da prioridad a seis caracter赤sticas generales: sigue las orientaciones de la Instrucci車n 1/2029, parte de un diagn車stico, posee enfoque textual, predominan actividades pr芍cticas, utiliza m谷todos pedag車gicos prod
