%X Pharmacology is a discipline that provides medicine doctors with a scientific support for therapies while applying an integral treatment to patients. This article analyzes conceptions, challenges and perspectives of the teaching-learning process of this discipline in Cuba. The author supports the statement of an integral conception of the teaching-learning process, highlighting the sequence of pharmacological teaching tasks throughout the students＊ curricula, looking for the interdisciplinary relationship in the different contents in the curriculum of the medicine doctor. Taking this conception as a starting point, the author also states challenges and perspectives, so that the pharmacological contents become appropriate and relevant as part of medicine studies. This presupposes the design of a system for scientific and pedagogical preparation of all teachers in Pharmacology contents they need to complete the appropriate formation of medicine doctors. La disciplina Farmacolog赤a se encarga de ofrecer el sustento cient赤fico de la terap谷utica para aplicar un plan de tratamiento integral durante la actuaci車n profesional del m谷dico. En este art赤culo se analizan las concepciones, retos y perspectivas del proceso de ense anza- aprendizaje de esta disciplina en Cuba. Se proclama una concepci車n integral del proceso de ense anza-aprendizaje en el que se privilegie la secuenciaci車n de las pr芍cticas de la Farmacolog赤a desde todas las aristas del curr赤culo y la relaci車n interdisciplinaria de los profesores de la carrera. A partir de esta concepci車n se declaran retos y perspectivas para que el contenido farmacol車gico alcance la pertinencia y relevancia, lo cual supone dise ar un sistema para la preparaci車n cient赤fico-pedag車gica de todos los profesores en el contenido farmacol車gico necesario para garantizar la formaci車n del m谷dico general.
