A. %J Progress in Physics %D 2013 %I HEXIS (Arizona) %X The positive and negative parity states of 100Ru isotope are studied within the frame work of the interacting boson approximation model (IBA 1). The calculated levels energy, potential energy surfaces, V(¦Â, ¦Ã), and the electromagnetic transition probabilities, B(E1) and B(E2), show that 100Ru isotope has E(5) Characters. Staggering effect, ¦¤I=1, has been observed between the positive and negative parity states. The electric monopole strength, X(E0/E2), has been calculated.
