%X Con el objetivo de estudiar los textos period赤sticos como actores pol赤ticos en contextos determinados, nos proponemos en este trabajo realizar una comparaci車n de los argumentos difundidos por la prensa argentina y la prensa paraguaya con respecto a las causas de la Guerra de la Triple Alianza (1864-1870). Dada la gran cantidad de peri車dicos que se editaban en Buenos Aires durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, decimos focalizar el an芍lisis en el peri車dico La Naci車n Argentina, principal intermediario entre las instituciones de gobierno y el conjunto de ciudadanos. Por id谷nticas razones, en el caso de Paraguay trabajaremos con los peri車dicos creados por el gobierno de ese pa赤s a lo largo del enfrentamiento. With the aim of studying the journalistic texts as key political actors in context, in this paper we propose a comparison of the arguments used by the press in Argentina and Paraguay regarding the causes of the War Triple Alliance (1864-1870). Given the large number of newspapers that were published in the second half of the nineteenth century in Buenos Aires, we focus the analysis on the newspaper La Naci車n Argentina, as the main intermediary between government institutions and all citizens. For the same reasons, in the case of Paraguay, we will work with the newspapers published by the government during the confrontation.
