A knowledge of dental spacing and crowding is essential to predict future orthodontic needs of patients and to formulate treatment plans. AIM: To find out the incidence and pattern of primary incisor spacing and measurement of incisor liability in the school children of Chidambaram between ages of three and five years. SETTINGS AND DESIGN: One hundred school children from seven schools in Chidambaram comprised the population of this study. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Impression, radiograph taken to measure the necessary values. RESULTS: Incisor spacing is measured.
