%X The paper presents the results of the medical treatment with adjuvant hyperbaric oxygenation in eightpatients with central or branch retinal artery occlusion admitted at the Ophthalmology Department ofthe Clinical Hospital in Osijek (Croatia) in the period 2004.-2006. Initial visual acuity ranged from lightperception to 0.05. On discharge all patients reported a subjective visual improvement which could beconfirmed considerably in four patients - ranged from 0.2 to 1.0 (more than 3 lines) as a result of hyperbaricoxygenations treatment.
