%T EL INCUMPLIMIENTO DE PARTICIPAR EN LA ACTIVIDAD EN COOPERATIVAS AGRARIAS / THE FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITY OF AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVES

%X La voluntad de contribuir al logro de un proyecto com¨²n, la fidelidad a los objetivos colectivos y el prop¨®sito de cumplir los compromisos adquiridos deber¨ªan ser las motivaciones b¨¢sicas del socio de una cooperativa. Sin embargo, en demasiadas ocasiones, algunos cooperativistas no aportan a la empresa colectiva las cuant¨ªas comprometidas, perjudicando as¨ª los intereses de la entidad y del resto de los socios. A pesar de que estos comportamientos suponen una infracci¨®n del deber b¨¢sico de participar en las actividades de la cooperativa, resulta dif¨ªcil sancionar a los infractores y, todav¨ªa m¨¢s, reparar los perjuicios econ¨®micos que ocasionan. Por ello, planteamos aqu¨ª la exploraci¨®n de una v¨ªa complementaria a la v¨ªa sancionadora prevista en nuestras leyes para combatir los incumplimientos del deber de participar en la actividad t¨ªpica de la cooperativa, que se conoce como ¡°actividad cooperativizada¡±. / The basic motivations of the member of a cooperative should be to contribute to the achievement of a common project, loyalty to the collective objectives and purpose of fulfilling their commitments. However, too often, some members do not contribute to the cooperative the amounts committed, harming the interests of the society and the other members. Although this behaviour is a violation of a social obligation to participate in the activities of the cooperative, it is difficult to punish offenders and, even more, to repair the economic damage they cause. This study raises the possibility of a complementary economic method, compatible with the legal system of penalties, to cope with the failure to participate in the activity of cooperative.
