The universe of this study was composed of 85 university students of both sexes aged between 19 and 26 years, and these 20 students the first semester morning, 23 of the first half at night, 20 students in the morning and 22 fourth semester students of fourth semester night , All students attend on a regular Course of Physical Therapy, Centro Universit¨¢rio Jorge Amado in Salvador - BA in semester of 2009.1. To achieve the objective of this study we chose to use as technical resources to equip the methodological assessment that the Test of Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability Test,Test of Sustained Attention Test, Mental Processing, which were applied in premiseswhere often these students attended class, maintaining the same light conditions, noiseand disposal of furniture. The choice of these tests, specifically, is related to these capabilities in assessing the state of attention, using as support visual, auditory, visual motor coordination and manual door, items essential to the proper state of mind that precedes and is necessary for neural mechanisms of learning. comparisons were not found no statistical evidence that the groups differ in any of the three tests, considering also the comparison between students of different semesters, but studying at the same time of day. The results showed no statistical differences that the groups differ, it is noteworthy that the performance of all groups was around the average, therefore, can not be inferred that evaluated the state of attention these students can not have arelationship with their academic performance. %K Attention %K Learning %K University %U http://revista.ulbrajp.edu.br/ojs/index.php/edufisica/article/viewFile/567/137
