%X Our first aim as the whole country must be to build a bridge and keep the relations tght among the Turkish societies, whose population is over 250 million now. The bridge cannot be built by just trying t have good relations. We need to learn and knoe the literary works belongingto them. Most of the literary works of the Uighurs are not known in Turkey now. Transcribing the works into the Latin alphabet and translating them into Turkey Turkish will not only influence the common language movement positively but will strengthen our historical relations also. Taking this into consideration, Abdurrahim  tk¨¹r, one of the most important names in the Uighur literarture and his historical novel ¡° z¡± will beintroduced and evaluated.
