%X The third person possesive suffix is one of the functional suffixes of Turkish language. Disagreement about form and functions of the suffix can not have been becoming yet. A consonant /n/ that is come into being in the course of time is employed the person suffix together with case ending have created foundation of disagreement. A consonant e.g. /n/ there is used between the possesive suffixes and case ending can be directly attached to possessive suffixes in the historical texts. This situation have caused confusion between the possesive suffixes and case ending The proposal of this study is to solve the problem by examining all over the samples of the possessive and accusative in the Orkhun  nscriptions (K¨ıl Tigin and Tonyukuk 1-2).  n this way, it has been removed hesitation about relations of possessive-determinative-accusative.. ¨ı ¨ınc¨ı teklik  ah s iyelik eki, T¨ırk dilinin i levsel eklerinden biridir. Ekin  ekli ve i levleriyle ilgili g r¨ı  ayr l klar , hen¨ız tam olarak giderilememi tir.  yelik ekinin hal ekleriyle kullan l    esnas nda ortaya   kan /n/ ¨ıns¨ız¨ı, g r¨ı  ayr l   n n temelini olu turmaktad r.  yelik ekiyle hal ekleri aras nda kullan lan /n/ ¨ıns¨ız¨ı, tarih  metinlerde, bazen do rudan iyelik eki ¨ızerinde de g r¨ılmektedir. Bu durum, iyelik eki ile y¨ıkleme hali aras nda kar   kl  a neden olmu tur. Sorunun   z¨ım¨ıne katk da bulunmak amac yla Orhun Abidelerindeki (K l Tigin, Tonyukuk 1-2) b¨ıt¨ın iyelik ve y¨ıkleme hali  rneklerini inceledik. Elde edilen verileri de erlendirilerek eklerin bilinen en eski  ekil ve i levlerini ortaya koymaya  al  t k. B ylece iyelik-belirtme-y¨ıkleme ili kisiyle ilgili teredd¨ıtler, bir  l ¨ıde, giderilmi  oldu.
