%X Hur f s which are based their philosophy on the letters, interpreted the twelve imam which begin with Ali and end with Mahdi by using the letters. Conception of twelve imam comes into prominence especially in shia, alawi and bektashi sects. In this paper, the aspects of Hur f s impressed by sunnism and shiism will be analyzed firstly, then Hur f  interpretation about twelve imam will be explained. In Hur f  literature, among twelve imams, especially Ali and Mahdi are interpreted.Similarly to the many other subjects, the interpretations of twelve imams, Ali and Mahdi are based on the letters. Another attractive point is that at these interpretations, Hur f  philosophy and Fadlallah (constructor of Hur f sm) come into prominence. In other words, by way of twelve imams, especially Ali and Mahdi, Hur f s explained their philosophy and transfigured Fadlallah. Felsefelerini harfler ¨¹zerine kurmu  olan Hur f ler, Hz. Ali ile ba layan ve onun neslinden gelen on iki imam  da harfler ¨¹zerinden yorumlam  lard r. On iki imam telakkisi,  i  ve Alev /Bekta   ak mlarda  zellikle  ne   kmaktad r. Bu  al  mam zda,  ncelikle Hur f lerin S¨¹nn  ve  i likten etkilenen y nleri ¨¹zerinde; arkas ndan da on iki imam hakk ndaki yorumlar  ¨¹zerinde durulacakt r. Hur f  eserlerde on iki imamdan,  zellikle Hz. Ali ve Mehd ¡¯den bahsedilmi tir. Dolay s yla bu ki iler ¨¹zerinde de  al  mada  zellikle durulmu tur.Bir ok konunun yorumunda oldu u gibi on iki imam, Hz. Ali ve Mehd  ile ilgili yorumlarda da Hur f ler, harf temelli yorumlar yapm  lard r. Dikkati  eken di er bir nokta da yap lan yorumlarda Hur f li in ve Fazlullah¡¯ n  ne   kmas d r. Di er bir ifadeyle on iki imam,  zellikle de Hz. Ali ve Mehd  ¨¹zerinden Hur f lik anlat lm   ve Fazlullah y¨¹celtilmi tir.
