In this structure of cooperation, what the author should do is to disappear after granting the reader the possibility to see, and the reader should see the unsaid and the backstage of the text following the path depicted openly or secretly by the author. Here, this study covers from the reader¡¯s perspective the analyses of the symbolic power of names which Elif afak, in her literary works, puts great stress on, and also of the contributively function of the names to understand the overall meaning of the text.
