As demandas dos licenciandos em torno da compreens o acerca das diferen as do conhecimento acad那mico, quando comparado ao conhecimento escolar, s o discutidas. O artigo focaliza ainda as pr芍ticas docentes, na perspectiva dos licenciandos, evidenciando tanto suas tentativas de compreend那-las quanto sua rejei o aos motivos e aos m谷todos empregados pelos professores da escola. Por fim, trata das expectativas dos licenciandos sobre a escola, do esfor o necess芍rio para compreend那-la, a despeito de uma perspectiva detratora da realidade escolar. The article is organized into three categories - knowledge, teaching practices and school reasons - which guide the analysis of the reports produced by future Biology and History teachers in the context of their pre-service education. The needs of the future teachers related to their understanding about the differences between academic knowledge and school knowledge are discussed. The article also focuses on teaching practices under the perceptions and efforts of the future teachers not only when they try to understand these practices but also when they reject teachers' motives and methods employed by them at school.
