%X ResumenUbicado en el hoy pasaje peatonal Enrique Santos Disc谷polo 1847, el Teatro Del Picadero, posee adem芍s de su valor arquitect車nico, un fuerte valor simb車lico de la resistencia cultural a la dictadura, ya que alberg車 el ciclo Teatro Abierto. En 2007 y frente a una inminente demolici車n, la ONG ※Basta de demoler§, present車 un amparo para que no fuera destruido, mientras se tramitaba una declaraci車n de su fachada como bien patrimonial. Finalmente no se demoli車 y se logr車 un convenio entre los propietarios y el gobierno para preservarlo y poder utilizarlo para la actividad para la que fue concebido.AbstractLocated in the pedestrian street Enrique Santos Disc谷polo, Picadero Theatre has significant symbolic and architectural value as an icon of the resistance to the millitary dictatorship for having hosted the Teatro Abierto Cycle. In 2007, when the theater faced imminent demolition, the NGO Basta de Demoler filed an injunction to stop it, while its front was in the process of becoming a landmark. Finally, the demolition was stopped and the owners and the government reached an agreement to preserve the building and use it for the activity for which it was conceived.
