%X The notes on death themselves are indicators of the richness of the literary styles in bibliographies which tell us about the people who leave indelible marks on classic literature and vefayat-nama. The authors of tezkires, vefayat-namas and other bibliographic books preferred to use an ornamented language rather than a simple one while they were expressing the death of poets, authors, musicians and velis. In this explanation, it is possible to define our people's point of view about death. The author regarded the death as a change of place, the migrate from this world to the other world and he became the sound of soul. In his explanation, the death is a migration and a journey to heaven. Therefore, these works have a significance in terms of cultural and folklore history. In this paper, the notes on death in Bursal   smail Beli 's works named as G¨¹ldeste-i Riyaz-   rfan ve Vefeyat-  Dani veran-  Nadiredan are analysed. Klasik edebiyatta arkas ndan bir iz, bir eser b rakarak ebediyete g  m¨¹  ki ilerin hayatlar n  anlatan biyografik eserlerde, vefeyat-namelerde  l¨¹me d¨¹ ¨¹len notlar, ba l  ba  na zengin bir ¨¹slup g stergesi durumundad r. Tezkire, vefeyat ve di er biyografik eser yazarlar , hayatlar n  anlatt klar   air, yazar, bilgin, mu iki inas ve velilerin vefatlar n  k saca ¡° ld¨¹¡±, ¡°vefat etti¡± gibi basit bir bi imde anlatmak yerine s¨¹sl¨¹,  iirsel, muhayyel c¨¹mle ve ibarelerle anlatmay  tercih etmi lerdir. Bu ibarelerde insan m z n  l¨¹me bak   a  lar n  tesbit etmek m¨¹mk¨¹n g r¨¹nmektedir.  l¨¹m¨¹ bir mekan de i tirme;  l¨¹ml¨¹ d¨¹nyadan ebedi aleme bir g   olarak g ren m¨¹ellif, asl nda toplumsal vicdan n sesi olmu tur. Onun ifadelerinde vefatlar birer g  , cennet bah elerine yolculuk, sonsuzlu a kanat   rpmakt r.  l¨¹lerinizi hay rla an n z, prensibinden  a mayan Beli , her  leni hay r ve g¨¹zel s zlerle anarak bilge bir tav r sergilemi tir. Bu bak mdan bu t¨¹rdeki eserler k¨¹lt¨¹r ve folklor tarihi a  s ndan da  nem arz etmektedir. Bu yaz da Bursal   smail Beli ¡¯in Bursada ya ay p vefat edenleri anlatt    G¨¹ldeste-i Riyaz-   rfan ve Vefeyat-  Dani veran-  Nadiredan adl  eserinde vefatlara d¨¹ ¨¹len notlar tesbit edilip incelenmi tir.
