%X The distinction between saying and showing is central in the development of critical language made by the early Wittgenstein. Assuming that the numbering system of the Tractatus points (despite all the controversies) to certain argumentative structure of the book, this text has two goals: (1) locate the group of propositions that deal with the issue of solipsism (5.6 to 5641) within that structure, and (2) show that the place where these propositions are part of an argumentative strategy of Wittgenstein, since it is where we find the climax of the distinction between what can be said and what should be shown.
