%X Tradition is employed in the course of progress of genre of novel, which is introduced to Turkish literature through translations from Western Literature. Especially, the way that Ahmet Mithat Efendi followed provides basis fort he progress of the novel of that kind. In modern thought, corresponding sense of that way is intertextual relations. Briefly, intertextual relations that refer to the gathering and the fashion of redesigning of other texts echo in Metal F rt na 4 Turan, the subject matter of this study. Metal F rt na 4 Turan consists of the gathering and reinterpretation of such elements of especially folklore, mythology, and folk literature as Shamanism, Ergenekon epic, wolf, and end of the world or Kalgan    ak legend. Those elements in the novel constitute the subject matter of this article. T¨¹rk edebiyat na Bat  edebiyat ndan  evirilerle giren roman t¨¹r¨¹n¨¹n geli im a amas nda gelenekten faydalan l r.  zellikle Ahmet Mithat Efendi¡¯nin izledi i yol bu y nde roman n ilerlemesine zemin haz rlar. Bu tarz n modern d¨¹ ¨¹ncede kar  l    metinleraras  ili kilerdir. K saca, bir metnin ba ka metinlerin bir araya gelmesi ve yeniden tasarlanmas   eklinde tan mlanabilecek olan metinleraras  ili kiler, inceleme konumuz olan Metal F rt na 4 Turan roman na da yans r.  zellikle folklor, mitoloji veya halk edebiyat   gelerinden  amanizm, Ergenekon destan , kurt ve d¨¹nyan n sonu veya Kalgan    ak efsanesinin bir araya getirilerek yeniden yorumlanmas yla olu an Metal F rt na 4 Turan roman ndaki bu unsurlar makalenin konusunu te kil eder.
