%X ¡°It is not easy¡± is one of the most commonly used expressions by women and men in Cuba because it sums up the hard times that the Caribbean island is currently going through. In the new Cuban socioeconomic landscape, it is women who, to a great extent, are suffering the consequences of the economic crisis in their family and social lives, given that have to work for the productive system, generate networks of solidarity and, above all, act as important home keepers. By studying different migratory trajectory of Cuban women who live in Spain, we ask if the situation of family and social pressure linked to the reproductive ambit has become one of the factors causing Cuban women to emigrate, above all when, from a Cuban ideological perspective, they have been made aware of the possibilities open to them in the public domain. ¡°No es f¨¢cil¡± es una de las expresiones m¨¢s usadas por mujeres y hombres en Cuba, siendo esta la que mejor resume la dureza de los tiempos que corren en la isla caribe a. En el nuevo paisaje socioecon¨®mico cubano, son las mujeres quienes est¨¢n viviendo, en mayor medida, las consecuencias de la crisis econ¨®mica en la vida familiar y social: aportando su trabajo al sistema productivo, generando redes de solidaridad y, sobre todo, como principales gestoras y proveedoras de los hogares. A trav¨¦s del an¨¢lisis de diferentes trayectorias migratorias de mujeres cubanas que se encuentran en Espa a, nos preguntamos si la situaci¨®n de presi¨®n familiar y social vinculada al ¨¢mbito reproductivo se ha convertido en uno de los factores que las ha llevado a emigrar, sobre todo cuando, desde el planteamiento ideol¨®gico cubano, se les ha hecho conscientes de sus posibilidades en el espacio p¨²blico.
