%X zet Ama : Madde ba  ml l    g¨¹n¨¹m¨¹zde  nemli bir halk sa l    sorunudur. Bu  al  ma, ¨¹niversite   rencilerinde sigara, alkol ve uyu turucu madde kullan m n n yayg nl   n  ve bunu etkileyen fakt rleri ara t rmak amac  ile yap ld . Y ntem: Kesitsel tipteki bu ara t rmada veriler, Hatay Mustafa Kemal ¨¹niversitesi E itim Fak¨¹ltesi, Ziraat Fak¨¹ltesi ve Reyhanl  Sa l k Meslek Y¨¹ksek Okulu   rencilerinden elde edildi.  Her fak¨¹lte ya da y¨¹ksek okuldan bir, iki, ¨¹  ve d rd¨¹nc¨¹ s n flardan birer  ube se ildi ve s n flarda   sistematik  rneklem ile de   renciler se ildi.  al  maya toplam 396   renci kat ld . Ara t rmaya kat lmay  kabul edenlere g zlem alt nda soru ka  d  uyguland . Bulgular: Kat lan   rencilerin ya  ortalamas  20.9¡À2.3 ve %55.1¡¯i erkektir.  Ya am boyu sigara, alkol ve uyu turucu madde kullan m  s ras yla %73.2, %56.6 ve %9.6 idi. Erkeklerde sigara, alkol ve uyu turucu madde kullan m  daha y¨¹ksek bulundu. Babas nda ve karde inde sigara ve alkol kullan m   yk¨¹s¨¹ olanlarda sigara ve alkol kullan m  daha y¨¹ksek saptand .  Yak n akrabalar nda uyu turucu madde kullan m  bildirenlerde, uyu turucu madde kullan m  daha fazla bulundu. Sigara kullananlarda  iddete u rama ve  iddet uygulama, sigara i meyenlere g re daha y¨¹ksek idi (p<0.001). Hayat boyu  iddete u rayanlar n  zg¨¹ven ve sosyal destek skorlar  d¨¹ ¨¹k, s¨¹rekli kayg  puanlar  y¨¹ksek bulundu (p<0.01). U ucu madde kullananlarda s¨¹rekli kayg  puan  y¨¹ksek (p<0.05), sosyal destek puan  d¨¹ ¨¹k idi (p<0.05). Sonu : Sigara i me, alkol ve uyu turucu madde kullan m  Hatay¡¯da ¨¹niversite   rencilerinde yayg nd r. This study examined the prevalence of cigarette smoking, alcohol and substance use among the university students, as well as factors associated with the use of addictive substances.  Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the data were obtained from the students of the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Agriculture and Health Professions High School. One class per educational year and per branch were selected from all of the schools.  The participants were selected by a   systematic sampling methods. A total of 396 students participated and self-completed the survey. Results: The mean age of the students was 20.9 ¡À 2.3, and 55.1% of all participants were males.
