%X In this paper, human¡¯s endeavor to overcome cancer for centuries and historical development regarding definition and treatment of leukemia in this endeavor are emphasized according to Auguste Comte¡¯s expression, ¡°A science can be known only if its history is known¡±. Another reason to mention the historical development of leukemia is a thought that it can be facilitated to understand better disease¡¯s effects on patient-physician relationship, in which cannot be provided success always in the treatment along with increasing the probability of cure.
