T¨šlin Mansur %J Turkderm %D 2012 %I Galenos Yayincilik %X Oral mucosal disorders comprise more than 200 pathological conditions or diseases, grouped in different categories including genetic, inflammatory, infectious and neoplastic. In this report the key points in diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal disorders are briefly underlined, and indications, precautions, and contraindications are pointed out. In addition, some clues are given to the dermatologists for management of common symptoms of oral disorders, such as pain, dry mouth and halitosis, which greatly disrupt the quality of life.
