%X (E): In 1977, the young British artist Dick Jewell self-published a small book Found Photos, a collection of photobooth images that had been thrown away or torn up by the people in the photos. This essay places that book in the context of the development of interest in vernacular photography during the 1970s, and relates it to other projects using pictures made in photobooths, both before and since. Cette exp¨¦rience situe le livre dans le contexte du d¨¦veloppement de l¡¯int¨¦r¨ºt pour la photographie vernaculaire au cours des ann¨¦es 1970, et le rapproche d¡¯autres projets faisant usage d¡¯images provenant de photomatons, aussi bien ant¨¦rieurs que post¨¦rieurs.
